INVENTORY IS RISING!




HAPPY MONDAY!


How's the East Bay real estate market these days? I checked the levels of inventory in three cities: Berkeley—one of the most popular East Bay cities with a known tight inventory, Oakland—a quite large city with lots of different neighborhoods for everyone, and El Cerrito—located north of the city of Albany and becoming a quite competitive market.


Inventories are rising! It's rare to see a two-month supply in Berkeley. The Oakland inventory is beyond four months! You see many houses sitting on the market for a while. El Cerrito? There are not many properties to sell to begin with, but they are still around a one-month supply, which indicates a strong seller's market.


And you know... the mortgage rate is going down...


This is a great opportunity for buyers!
